Former Candidates Support of/Campaign for Kerry
Now this is what I like to see.

Wes Clark gives a great speech in Nebraska, raises good money and gets the "normally staid" Democratic folks out of their seats.

John Edwards zings Bush's performance at the last week's press conference (and we should all use that term loosely) with "I'll give him an answer"

Dennis K. fires up the crowd at Earth Day and reminds all of us of why we are Democrats. He's intent on getting this message out and will work like heck for Kerry.

Bob Graham and Joe Lieberman campaign with Kerry in FL.

Howard Dean's organization will not only work for Kerry, but for all our candidates as well.

Those issues which divide us as a party are much less than those which unite us. And if John Kerry is smart, which I know he is, he's going to continue to use each and every one of these former candidates where they are going to do the most good.

We might just win this sucker after all!

2. 5 Standing Ovations
Thanks for the backhanded compliment to John Edwards. At the speech you quoted from Edwards received 5 standing ovations!

4. Um...I Supported and Voted for Edwards in My State's Primary

and I loved this zinger which is why I quoted it. It was an "editoral" choice since (to me anyway) Nebraska doesn't conjure up images of a Democratic stronghold.

3. Isn't Dennis K the only candidate who hasn't endorsed Kerry?
Sorry, but how can you group him with the others?

5. I Believe that Dennis Will Ultimately Support Kerry...
and work to get him elected. But (IMHO) Dennis reminds all of us why we are Democrats, much like Mario Cuomo did in 1992 with his speech at the convention. It's important to list this.
