Obama is a chump for denouncing Wright's words
1. This going to hurt him in the African-American community. But he doesn't need us anymore. Thanks Barack.

2. If you want to, you can find seeminlgy outrageous statements from nearly every black preacher in America. We have legitimate grievances, and sometimes they get expressed in ways that whites don't like. It happens.

3. Obama hasn't repudiated Donnie McClurkin. Why the hell would he disrespect his own pastor???

4. Rev Wright's comments are the tip of the iceberg in terms of the racial issues that need to be addressed in this nation. Even more offensive than Wright's comments is the intense aversion in the white community to any discussion of issues of race. That, and not Wright's statements, is the fuel that is driving this controversy.

Barack Obama is on the verge of pissing me off. But I will listen to what he has to say today. He better not go out like a punk. A lot of us expect more from him.

2. Do you want him to win the election if he is the
nominee? Because if you do then you would understand he did the right thing.

9. The 'right' thing is not determined by electoral strategy.
Or do you mean the smart thing?

In politics, the right thing and the smart thing are often opposites.

4. He didn't repudiate Wright. He made it a point
to not repudiate the man, only the extremely foolish and offensive statements he made.

5. Reality check: You have to eat shit for power in this country
every now and then. I'm sure it left a bad taste in his mouth.

I bet he makes things Wright in the speech this morning.
