AP Reports on "Goring" of Kerry - Yet Repeats the Smears!!!
Typical of the "librul media" -- Ron Fournier writes "Newsview: Dems Fear Kerry Looks Like Gore," reminding us (as if we hadn't noticed) of the Republican attacks on Kerry. However, he takes the opportunity to repeat the same slams without ANY correction, perspective, context, or truth. From the $87 billion "no" vote to the IWR, Fournier references "flip-flops" and "character flaws."

Anybody have an email address for Fournier?

2. Thank you!
Yes, I remember he, Nedra Pickler and others repeated RNC smears against the General, too, without any refutation or context...

"people need to know what happened in the past so that they will know what to expect in the future.." :puke: To which I responded. No shit. If you had done your job in 2000 and reported Bush's past the voters would have known what a sorry loser he is.

4. You are so right... The thing is
(and I can't remember if this one was Fournier or not) they'd repeat things like "Clark testified in support of the Iraq invasion" after that amazing editing job from the RNC (propagated by Drudge), even long after we'd sent them the full transcript and Perle's summary of Clark's remarks as a big "NO" to the invasion....

They did it to Gore, when the RNC took remarks out of context and reframed them to look absurd -- they'd report what the RNC said, not what the full truth was.

Now they're doing it again, for example, with the "I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it." How much trouble would it have been for Fournier to actually research and report the background of that and informed people that the RNC is playing games again? Instead, ironically, in an article *about* Gore-ing Kerry, he contributes to the Gore-ing by merely repeating the smears...

Grrrr, it makes me crazy.

6. I'll bet you got no response to that retort.
Amazing how creative they can be in promoting the RNC agenda.
