Elton John to Raise Money for Clinton

(AP/WASHINGTON) — Elton John will help Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton raise cash for her presidential campaign with a solo concert next month at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

"I'm not a politician but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does," the British musician said in a statement released by the Clinton campaign Monday.

Tickets for the "Elton and Hillary: One Night Only" performance April 9 go on sale Wednesday. Prices start at $125 for mezzanine seats, $250 for seats near the orchestra.

Last October, Clinton held a star-studded fundraiser to celebrate her 60th birthday. Comedian Billy Crystal and rockers Elvis Costello and the Wallflowers headlined the event at New York's historic Beacon Theater, which raked in more than $1.5 million for Clinton's presidential bid.

Wonder if they'll do a duet! I'd gladly pay $250 to see that!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

4. Until the primaries are over of course, why would she drop out now?
And the PA primary is a mere two weeks after this fundraiser, so I suspect a lot of that money will come to good use here.

14. Because she can't win?
Because she galvanizes the GOP better than their own nominee ever could to turn out the vote? Because if she's the nominee plenty of new voters who were part of the political system will repudiate and reject HRC as the nominee and just stay home instead? Oh just a few of the 99999 reasons why she should drop out now with whatever shred of dignity she might possibly still have left.

Oh, and Elton John? Dead to me now.

9. Hillary is Here to Stay!
After whoring himself out to Eminem and the two of them singing that atrocious duet at the Grammys, Elton John has finally decided to redeem himself.
