Don't Stop Believing, Kerry/Clark version
Kerry’s an uptown boy, could live any life he wants
But he volunteers to fight in Vietnam
Clark’s a small town boy, first in his class at West Point
After Oxford he’s shipped to Vietnam

Young officers leading their men
Against the odds they strive to win
Seriously injured they continue to fight
They lead on and on and on and on

American heroes, fighting for love of country
Purple hearts, courageous fight
American heroes, leading with pure devotion
Proven leaders makin’ right

Kerry fights to end that war
Becomes great leader on Senate floor
Clark soldiers on in the army life
Earns all four stars
Senator, General
Each excels at his leadership role
Two devoted to serve us all
They lead on and on and on and on

American heroes, fighting for love of country
Wise to know right makes might
American heroes, leading with pure devotion
Proven leaders makin’ right

Don’t stop believin’
Believe what you’re seein’
American heroes

Don’t stop believin’
Believe what you’re seein’
American heroes

Don’t stop believin’
Believe what you’re seein’
American heroes

2. If a Journey cheese ballad becomes a campaign song.....
....might as well hand the election over to the Chimp.

3. Never forget
This is a popularity contest. We need to sell to the masses, not just the 120+ IQ, net-savy, college educated crowd. We Democrats tend to forget that. The Republicans never forget and that is how they beat us.

4. I am beginning to worry about my admiration for Clark.
Nobody can be as good as I think Clark is.
