We should write thank you letters to Dole, McCain, and Nancy

So maybe they are republican shills but they are being reasonable, seeing the decent side of republicans is always refreshing.

It is nice to hear that repubs that are not bat-shit insane do actually exist.

We should let them know, so that they will keep it up.

the Bushistas that they weren't gonna use Ronnie for their twisted political gain.

I think that it shows that some of them are not completely terrible.

McCain, Dole, and Kerry DID fight in wars, and they DID see their friends die. They have a deeper understanding of life and I think that is great.

...that are real Republicans, not the vile, twisted, neo-con nutjobs who have taken over the party. I may not agree with them on many things, but they certainly don't make my blood boil.

Remember when we could say the Republican party wasn't evil but simply misguided? If we're going to successfully defeat the neo-con threat, we'll have to swallow our pride and temporarily join forces with moderate Republicans such as them.
