NEW POLL : Democrat destroys Republican in Presidential Race
Kerry 52
Bush 44

MY POINT --> Calm down about these polls showing McCain winning. Either Dem will come back and win and beat Bush III.

1. Thank you for some common sense
Our nominee will rebound. McCain is a deeply flawed candidate.

5. McCain's only asset (a big one) is the unquestioning MSM man-love
Broder, Russert, Time, Newsweek, the Times, the Post, the networks and all of the "neutral" MSM positively swoon over the "straight shooter" war hero icon they have created for public distribution.

But the more he campaigns and the crazier he seems (one in the same) at least SOME of the MSM may reach the sad conclusion that this fictionalized creation of theirs is actually a crazy, dangerous, and out of touch relic whose time has long past.

Some is the best we can hope for. And that will be a better playing field than Gore or Kerry got.

3. If DU existed in Aug. 1988, the board would have looked like this:
"Dukakis up 17! We Can't lose!"

"Who should be in the Dukakis Cabinet?"

"Dukakis leads by 5 in Texas"

"Don't bother with this Willie Horton thing. Nobody will buy it"

"Joe Biden would make a good Secretary of State"

4. McCain has been doing well because he's been out of the news for the most part
Think about it: people like McCain better when they don't have to see or hear him.
