Tom Delay as Kerry's VP? Why not?
It would attract cross over voters, we'd win Texas, and it would bring in a certain respect that the Oval office hasn't seen in a long time.

5. Delay?
Why not OJ Simpson then? It would attract all the Black vote plus the votes of all people who got away with murder in the country, and that includes The Bush Crime Family!

"Kerry/DeLay Corner the Sloped Forehead Vote: Bush Loses Base."

Get a monocle put on some jack boots and practice his goose step.

11. Three reasons
It would drive off all of the Democrats.

We'd lose all 50 states--one of the major reasons DeLay keeps winning his district is that he represents Sugar Land (which is freeper country) instead of somewhere more moderate, like Austin.

And Tom DeLay is a Nazi. He doesn't run the House GOP based on respect, but on fear.

We'd be better off running Sonny Barger (http://sonnybarger.com/), founder of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, than Tom DeLay.

15. But we need to bring about
a new national unity between the liberals and the freepers. No ticket besides Kerry/Delay can accomplish that feat.

Trumad is a political genius to have thought that up.:D

They have such a low voter turnout anyway, do you really think that would be a factor?

...on the "terraists". Only the cockroaches and Keith Richards will be left alive, and Keith's not a US citizen, so it's up to the bugs. :(

20. Yeah, once that happens
they may begin to take more of an interest in the political process, but by then of course, they will be electing one of their own.

At least the future cockroach president will be an improvement over dubya.

14. That's one of the best ideas
I've seen on here in a long time. A true national unity ticket. No more partisan divisiveness.

And I mean if it meant being able to take Texas it would be more than worth compromising a few principles.

I'd vote for Kerry in almost any situation, but I don't think I could vote this one. I'd have to stick with one of my wonderful dream write-in tickets:

Barbara Boxer/Tom Harkin
