Why Kerry must target Cheney

The more that is unearthed about the march to war in Iraq, the more it becomes clear that the vice-president, Dick Cheney, is the puppet master in the Bush White House.

Senator John Kerry must make ridding the White House of Dick Cheney as central to his campaign as replacing President George Bush.

There is no other example in history of a vice-president with such influence over the major policy decisions of the White House.

Not so Dick Cheney. From Iraq to tax cuts, he has set the agenda. While being careful never to upstage Mr Bush in public, he has steered the political direction of the presidency from day one.

and he doesn't have Bush's cult of personality. Noone likes this guy. We should be going after him and Rove.

2. Anyone on the DUers here care?

to have a debate with the folks at military.com very pro bush. It needs a little dose of very informed smart,articulate people from the left,moderate or centrist for once. Most of the topic they discussed over there are about the B.s. against Clinton, Kerry as a traitor as aka Hanoi kerry. They also have a topic talking about the Nightline feature where theyd shown the names and pics of the brave men and women soldiers that have sacrifice their lives for our country.
