A republican recently told me |
|
that the Democrats had alot of crossovers to vote for McCain because they knew both our candidates could beat McCain but would have trouble with Romney or Thompson. He said most of the Republicans he knew were either not voting or voting for the damn Democrat (his words not mine) because they have had it with their party. He said he really doesn't like either of our candidates but he certainly didn't want McCain to be President because he knows it will be more of the same. He said he wasn't worried about McCain making it as he has no chance in hell of winning.
This came from one of the most stubborn right wingers I have met.
I haven't seen or heard of anyone who crossed over to vote McCain - but was glad to hear they believe they are whipped before the race starts. Not too surprising given the state of our nation, though.

2. Ann Coulter (aka Skeletor) has said she prefers HRC to Gramps... |
|
as HRC is the more consistant conservative. There is a large reservoir of contempt for Gramps within the GOP. He had been very frank with the religious nuts in their party, and those bastards never forgive (regardless of what their "good book" says about turning the other cheek).

The race does not always go to the swift.
The bigger they are the harder they fall.
Never give up, never let up.
Don't take your eye off the ball.
I once thought that there were not enough idiots in the country to elect the moran in chief over Gore or Kerry
Guess who ended up looking stupid.

5. The people that actually believed the swift boat liers and that gays were going to |
|
ruin their hetro marriage? Or the ones who thought a man who they "could have a beer with" would make a better president then one who actually had a clue about what america was facing in the near future? Sorry but your not the one looking stupid after 8 years of stupidity, its the morons that couldn't think for themselves. We just underestamated just how stupid and inbreed americans were.

6. I felt stupid. Well,,, I felt embarrassed. That the country could actually go |
|
down this path. Embarrassed for myself and all of us for allowing it to happen. For living in country where so many people are so backward and hateful. I have often thought of leaving, but that would mean I was driven out by the evil corpo overlords and their inbred minions. No, I will stay and try to steer the country back onto a path with a future.
