Poll question: POLL: How Many DUers Have Already Cast Their Vote in a Primary or Caucus?
Edited on Sat Mar-22-08 06:05 PM by Emit
I am curious how many DUers supporting either Clinton or Obama have already voted, and how many have not. I have already cast a ballot in my early caucus in January. How 'bout you? Have you voted already, if so for whom? If not, who do you plan to vote for?

Edited to add "Uncommitted in MI"

7. You should have added uncommitted for us Michiganders...
I'm a proud member of the 40% who voted to thumb my nose at Hillary's victory declaration which I knew was coming even though she'd claimed we didn't count.

25. Voted in Primary for Hillary
Democrats in my state did not count primary votes. I could not attend the caucus ( many people could not). It wasn't just Michigan and Florida where Hillary votes were not counted.

40. So, if I am following you correctly, in WA you have a primary and a caucus
but primary votes are not counted? Do they go by caucus results only?

Thanks in advance for your response. Forgive my ignorance, but, I am unfamiliar with how your state counts the Dem primary/caucus results. :hi:

35. Other. I have not yet voted in my primary,
and I plan one of the following votes, depending on the status of the candidates when I finally get to vote in May:

1. If the nomination is still in contention, I will vote for whichever candidate is behind, in an effort to force a brokered convention that nominates someone NOT Obama or HRC.

2. If the "magic number" of delegates has been reached, I will write in a better democrat, and begin contemplating 3rd party candidates, independent candidates, and democratic write-ins for November.

36. Nope, not yet but I did switch my voter registration....
from Independent to Democratic. Not at all thrilled with the Dems lately (e.g., the Senate & FISA; impeachment) and I'm more realistically an Independent these days. But switched my party affiliation so I can vote for Obama. I'll stick with the Dems.....for now. Time will tell -- if they fuck up too much more, back to Independent I go.

on Super Tuesday because she was so outnumbered and I like an underdog. I was and am an Edwards supporter, so it doesn't really matter to me too much who the nominee is. They both have pluses and minuses, and, of course, I will vote for the nominee, assuming it isn't Joe Lieberman.
