so? That dirty rotten bastard. 1.2 million Iraqis dead, 4 million displaced, and 5 million orphans.
How could we have let this happen?

11. I know....if only the "kids" on here could know what it was really like
I know they are doing their best to get involved in politics, but I really don't think they have any idea what it was like with everything....the rallies, the body bags, the elected officials.....and, the draft.

13. I agree...wonderful to see them involved.....but
I sure hope they don't get a big letdown or they will be gone and then they could get the draft, too.....only it will be called something else...what is McCain's stance on it?

Who, after coming home from Vietnam, just stood there on the doorstep of his mother's house that he had just set on fire (with her sleeping in her bed), and with flames all around him, turned and walked back into the house. House burned to the ground, both perished.

At the age of 13, I saw firsthand the fruits of an unnecessary war.
