Poll question: Even if I do not vote for the nominee in the GE (I hope we don't have many of these)
I promise to vote down ticket to support democratic candidates.
Because if my worse fears are correct and candidate x or y loses the election,
we will need as many seats as we can to control Pres. John McCain and to push our nation in a more progressive direction and try to reverse the damage done by the asshats in the white house.

disclaimer: I don't believe we will lose and I plan to vote for the nominee

1. Not applicable
A President John McCain ("I will nominate Supreme Court Justices along the lines of John Roberts and Samuel Alito") is not an option. Period.

4. Caveat
I voted that I would support the entire Democratic ticket because I wanted to make it clear that I will vote for the Democratic presidential nominee. But I am not promising to vote for Jim Moran for reelection to the House...he has said a lot of things that have irked me. But his seat is safe anyway so it does not matter. I will definitely vote for the Democratic presidential nominee and for Mark Warner for Senate.
