I am wondering why this isn't a bigger story. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOsGo_HWP-c . I do not understand why a Candidate outright lying about their 'experience' is not more of an issue, than whether or not their church pastor has some disagreeable opinions about American policy. Personally I do not care about what the Candidates friends, family and associates say. I care about what they say.

I would think it would be a bigger deal, especially considering that her ‘experience’ is one of her major arguments as to why she would be a better nominee. I have to wonder, if Obama was caught in a lie like this, would the media, and the supporters take it as lightly as they seem to be in regard to Clinton?

1. Because we have always been at war with Eurasia!!
Somewhere along the line, we have stepped into the 1984 time line. Its not lies, it's newspeak, and truth is slipped into the tube/memory hole.

How can you ask people to trust someone who has blatantly lied?

If you can't trust a candidate to represent you, there is no reason in the world to vote for them.

It's a matter of trust.

2. Americans can't focus on real issues
We would rather focus on pastors and hookers instead of the Iraq war and a collapsing economy.

It reads somthing like this:

Hillary saying she has experience because she was married to Bill is like Yoko Ono saying she is a Beatle.

And I am with the OP there are lies you just can't get past and this is one of them.

8. I think because in politics, everyone is caught exaggerating or spinning facts so much...
...that it doesn't matter anymore.

The political process itself, in which we tolerate such a high level of spin, should be criticized.

9. If Obama did that, the Clintons would try to light him on fire
There would be surrogates on every cable station, 24/7, calling him a pathological liar, criminal, and anything else they could think of.

And yes, lying about something like that should be an immediate end to somebody's chances. But the Clinton campaign has suitably proven that they are without shame, and I doubt that this will get the kind of media traction needed to make a real dent in them.
