So, Your State Already Voted, Right?
I think we are all anxious to get the primary season over with, but for most of us, who live in states that have already held our primaries or caucuses, therisn't much we can do about that except wring our hands and, unfortunately, take shots at each other.

Let's not do that. If your state has voted, why not get to work on bringing down our real foe, John McCain. Obama and Clinton and their campaigns have their hands full, and McCain is getting a free ride in the press and with the public, generally. But we can take it upon ourselves to change that.

Let's get to work.

Let's write letters to the editors of our local papers, pointing out McCain's real record.

Let's hit the other boards around the net, at the TV network and newspaper sites, and anywhere else we can post our opinions.

Print off some anti-McCain signs and get them up around your town.

Make your own anti-McCain flyers and hand them out at local events.

Make a "No McCain" sign and stand on a street corner if you can't think of anything else.

But, damn it, let's start pulling him down insterad of each other. Stop talking about the grass roots and actually BE the grass roots.

2. k&r
Thank you for the useful post. Maybe instead of acting like 7th graders and posting about ignore lists, some of the people who currently have too much time on their hands could actually do something useful.

4. hey what a great idea!
i agree 100%
every person i talk to about politics i always try to move away from Clinton vs Obama and talk about America vs McCain. Is there a forum for the GE yet?-- even if we don't have a nominee we could start talking about what is wrong with McCain and start at least unifying around that...

6. isn't if funny that crazy flame bait...
ends up with a hundred recs and even more replies-- but something sane and sensible like this just sinks... well maybe not funny, more like a total fucking shame.
