I have been to Trinity as a visitor several times and it has always been a wonderful, caring, worshipful experience. If all you have are 3 clips (and it IS) out of thousands of sermons preached, you need to go back to the drawing board.

As a person who has attended services at Trinity I believe I'm more than capable of answering alot of the accusations. First I know Jeremiah Wright and I know him to be man of integrity and love. Secondly, I know Barack and know him to be a man of integrity and honesty. The sermons heard on you tube did not happen while I attended. Also If you have listened to the whole entire sermon it makes more sense. Thirdly, what Hillary and others fail to realize is that for Barack Jeremiah is not just a Pastor but a Friend and "family" member. For 20 yrs this man became his surrogate family member if you will. Barack was born Bi racial. He never had any real contact with his other side until he was older. Trinity and Jeremiah offered him that connect to the other part of him. He could not disown him because of some ill stated words by his Pastor,Friend and "family". Lastly Trinity is not some Black Nationalist/Separatist Church as what is being portrayed in the media. Hell Whites even attend services sometime!!!

Most intelligent people have researched Trinity and came to the same conclusions. It's a wonderful church that most other churches can only aspire to be. I'm sure Jesus would be proud. Welcome to DU. :hi:

Palestinians suffer because of their leadership, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) said.

In the first debate Thursday night of the Democratic candidates for president, Obama was asked whether he stood by his remark earlier this year that nobody suffers more than the Palestinians.


"What I said is, nobody has suffered more than the Palestinian people from the failure of the Palestinian leadership to recognize Israel, to renounce violence and to get serious about negotiating peace and security for the region," Obama said on the MSNBC debate. "Israel has been one of our most important allies around the world, it's the only established democracy in the Middle East, it's the linchpin of much of our efforts in the Middle East, but the United States has to get engaged in this region and that's something this president has not done and that's something I intend to do."<<

Here's what she really said:

"He would not have been my pastor, and I doubt very seriously if he would have been Senator McCain's pastor as well" Clinton said. "You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend."
