Would all of you who say you won't vote for the nominee if it's not the candidate you support...
would you do me a favor?

I live in AZ. My vote won't count for squat this year.
McSame WILL win this state. <---- that's hard to say and makes me want to vomit but it is a fact.

So would you vote for the nominee (whoever it is) for me in your state? Will you do it for all Dems who are in the situation I'm in?

Please. For the sake of our country. Do NOT let McSame get the Presidency because you are in a snit.

1. No I will not.
Voting for Clinton would go against my core principles.

I am a Democrat because the Democratic party's core principles match my own. Not the reverse. I don't change my core principles to suit the Democratic party.

4. I'm sorry to hear that.
Think of the SCOTUS. Would that make you change your mind?

As you can see I'm an Obama supporter. All I'm looking for is for people to think of this country and it's future and the only way to save us is to keep McSame out of the WH... whoever we would have to vote for.

11. And yet you have such a candidate's name in your sig line.
And no, I'm not talking about the Wright thing. I'm talking about Obama race-baiting Clinton for her comments on LBJ.

14. Riiiiiight
Hillary dug her own grave with black voters and she continues to dig it. Preying on the electorate's bigotry isn't a one time isolated event with her; people generally give the benefit of the doubt at the beginning. But it's a pattern now and it started in Iowa. Everyone sees it except her supporters.

It's sad because I started off liking the Clintons.

19. You got that right...
I started off supporting her until recently, and the other day when Bill tried to portray Obama as unpatriotic that really sealed it for me I took it as more than being unpatriotic,. I took it for as slightly racist as though Obama was a problem because of his blackness and that McCain was more worthy than Obama. The Clintons have lost all respect from me...

13. His lying, his smearing, his race-baiting, his sexism, his lack of experience..
This guy's doing the same thing to his opponents that they did to Gore in 2000, and Clinton during the 90s. I wouldn't vote for a Republican doing it, but I'm supposed to pretend I don't see it with a Democrat?

16. LOL
you're living in a parallel universe. He's run an extremely positive campaign.

So much so that I've wondered if he's too much of a nice guy to win in the GE.

17. I was hoping a few people would say they would be willing
to hold their nose and vote for the nominee (if it's not their fav choice) and do it for another DU member who lives in a very red state.

I know feelings are running strong right now. I'll try this again in the fall... and I'll hope for better results.

18. Won't be taking you up on your offer.
Because I will vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination. I may have to get drunk before voting but I will do it. I'm honestly disgusted by the whole pack up your toys and go home BS by supporters of both candidates. There's so much on the line here and you all are "swearing by your principles". Whatever. Tell that to the mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, sons and daughters of all the soldiers over there in Iraq. Jesus.

5. Things are changing here but very slowly.
McSame is a local politician. He'll win here.
Dems here will do their best to put up a fight to show him he isn't walking away with the election.

20. Of Course I Will
For the very reason others have stated: The Supreme Court. I can't imagine the Supreme Court not being each of our's most important principle. Cutting off the nose to spite the face is a very immature action.

My wife and I are in Tucson here. We would vote for any Dem Candidate. Even as much as I HATE HRC at this point. I would still vote to save us from WWIII in the Middle East. There are lives on the line here people! Blood will be on your hands if you don't vote.

24. I used to live in Tucson before I moved to the Phoenix area.
It's lovely there, I miss the mountain views, and a LOT more Democrats are there. :hi:

Let's hope others will help out by casting votes for our Dem nominee.

26. It's the thought that counts.
We need all DUers to be encouraged to vote regardless of who the nominee is... especially in the crucial battleground states.
