i am an obama supporter, but i said something that could be misconstrued as pro-hillary and i started getting flamed by fellow obama supporters. i didn't even know what to say back to them.

34. I think it's kind of silly to expect all Obama supporters to get along
and not have any conflict. We're all going to disagree sometimes and have differences of opinion. That's just human nature. I don't consider that "turning on each other."

but that isn't what happened. I was discussing the sniper-gate issue with some clinton supporters-- trying to explain it to them-- and i got flamed... like called an idiot by another obama supporter. not a discussion of how he disagrees with my opinion-- all he said was "You're an idiot and hilary is a fucking liar."

It's not a real boycott anyway. The HRC supporter numbers are dwindling so much they were getting embarrassed at being whooped in DU polls and outnumbered. They'll be back making a bunch of noise pretending there are more than 20 of them :rofl:

Right when the first big anti-Clinton story broke. So much for Obamababies, eh? We're still here after Pastorgate.

Oh, and I don't believe for a moment that hurt feelings from either side on an internet discussion board are going to sway the election. Lighten up. This process is called vetting. Obama supporters spent a tough couple of weeks because of the Wright story. You'll survive this too.

2. It's no fun talking only with people that AGREE with you. I love having a spirited (aka overblown) debate about the (non)issues and questionable (sleazy) campaign tactics. Best part about GDP is, we can have those good spirited debates without having to speak to Rethuglicans. Best of both worlds.
3. I haven't noticed any difference. There are plenty of Hillfolk posting tonite. Who's gone?
4. I don't know about any ignore list. Why wasn't I informed?
5. I don't believe in using the ignore list. I like my free speech uncensored and unfiltered.

but I could get all-Obama-all-the-time, or bash-Hillary-all-the-time, elsewhere. And what's to "discuss" with only one side to discuss it?

If Obama has a bad day, or a problem, I'd like to see that here, as well as his successes, because I think it's important to know. I want to know what non-supporters of his think because I think it's valuable. But it may be that the quality of dialogue here has reached such a low point that there's not much of value anyway, from either side.
