"I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you."
Can I make a modest proposal? Can I propose that we stop looking at the Right Wing for clues about which candidate they prefer to be our nominee? In the first place, it's probable that they differ in their opinions about that as much as we differ among ourselves. In the second place, even if they were in general agreement about which candidate would easier to beat, that doesn't mean they'd be right. We have the same tools and information they have to make educated guesses of that sort, so let's rely on our own judgement, not theirs. And in the third place, we have no idea if anything they say is sincere or a ruse. Trying to figure it out is about as pointless as the poisoned wine scene from Princess Bride. There are RWers who praise Obama and others who praise Hillary. Some have urged Rs to vote Hillary in primaries but others have done that with Obama. But it seems like if a RWer praises the candidate a DUer likes, in the mind of that DUer it means that the candidate will be strong in the crossover vote, but if the opposite happens, it means the other guy/gal is a closet R. Same thing with one candidate or another getting crossover votes in primaries. Let's just stop all this because we're just chasing our own tails.

And, just trust me- they want to run against Clinton.

Just in the same way as they DIDN'T want to run against Dean, as much as they may have said that they did.

6. Agreed! Bill Clinton entered the 1992 convention behind Bush AND Perot in the polls
The Democrats were thrilled when the Republicans nominated the washed-up actor turned governor of California back in 1980.
