this is a big change for me - as well as my partner...

While I am against obama - we cannot let the repukes gain control for another four years...

so even it it's obama, I, as well as my parnter, will not abstain - we will vote for the nominee - no matter who it is...

even if we have to hold our noses - again...

3. I will mail you and your partner the clothespins.
I've certainly had to vote for candidates I couldn't stand before, just to keep the Republicans from gaining any more ground.

4. I am surprised that your even on the fence....
You are against Obama?
As opposed to what?

McCain?
More right wing Supreme Court Justices?
Endless wars?

Please answer me this...

Will you hold your nose while you are being eviscerated by even more right wing oppression?

Gee...

I'm glad you and your partner (and believe me, I am supportive of both of you, something the right wing could give a flying fuck about) decided to "hold your noses" and vote for the Democratic nominee REGARDLESS OF WHO IT IS.

Unless of course, you were debating not voting at all.

But that's not possible right?

Tank, I'm glad to have you on the bus but my question is, what the fuck took you so long?

It wasn't really all that hard was it?

5. Me too
I want Obama to win with all my heart, but this election is too important to let my candidate preference distract me from the big picture. Too many people's lives are affected for me to even consider not voting Democratic.

9. Hey he wasn't my first choice either.
But the important thing is not the messy end of the primary shit-flinging contest, it is getting those fuckers out of the white house.

11. A man on Bill Maher tonight summed it up well.
He was asked whether he would support the Democratic nominee if it wasn't his preferred candidate, and he said something to the effect of "After the last 8 years I'd vote for the first person they dragged in off the street."

I certainly am not thrilled with my choices this year, but "President McCain" is simply not an option. I think the people saying "I'll vote for McCain if (whoever) doesn't get the nomination" are completely full of shit. That's just exasperation with the primaries talking. They'll watch the first five minutes of the Republican convention and snap out of it immediately.

You're a good person. I'm sorry these primaries got so nasty. Please, have a latte on me ok? I want a woman in office too and look forward to the day where we agree on the woman.
