"The Truth Happens To Be With Him."
Yesterday, a business-associate emphatically stated he didn't like bush, however would NOT vote for Kerry. When I asked why, and appealed to him that Kerry was a good man, he curtly, but firmly said "the medals". Giving respectful deference to his feelings, I sent him the following links:

(Never quite sure what I should or shouldn't post, nor where. Oh well, que sera, sera.)

3. he wouldn't talk much, but
he said something about 'disrespect'. he seemed somewhat receptive, so i'm workin' on 'im. just wanted to provide the links for anyone who may come up against this. if there's one, there's more. i speak to people all day long, every day, and i'm sowin' them seeds all day long, every day! :)

4. this says it all IMO
Kerry paused for several seconds. We had been talking for days -- about the war, politics, the veterans' demonstration -- but I could tell Kerry was upset to the point of anguish, and I decided to leave him be; his head was down as he approached the fence quietly.

2. Ask this guy if he served in Vietnam or anywhere
in a war zone.

I already know the answer to that question.

7. weren't the reasons for viet nam
and our subsequent behavior shameful enough?
i don't get it -- our behavior was atrocious and when people have a justifiable emotional reaction to this -- we allow keepers of the lie to critisize him?
not you personally -- rhetorical.

8. i don't get it either.
john had the courage to speak up, and did what he did for the troops, for our country, and, yes,
for the south vietnamese people.

10. That's possible, but don't dismiss this individuals motives
There are some people, even staunch Dems, who hold the trappings of military service in high regards.

Now, whether that should be enough to make you vote for Bush...I don't think so. But it might make someone sit this election out.
