I've had it with these "probably voting" Republicans...
Edited on Sun Apr-06-08 11:51 AM by Labors of Hercules
...the April 22 PA primary is becoming more of a can't-miss event for the young instead of just another why-bother one on the political calendar.

Doug Jones, 19, got so caught up in the excitement that he registered as a Democrat to vote for Clinton, even though he'll probably vote Republican in the fall.

"I'm not doing it out of sneaky and scheming motives to down the Democratic nominee," said the University of Scranton student. "I'd like to take part in the process."

Just what we need... more self-serving assholes learning to use twisted Republican politics to manipulate OUR primary in their favor.
All I have to say is, if they manage to hand Hillary the nomination, she'd better kick McCain's ASS in November or I will NEVER forgive her. :grr:

1. Don't worry about it.
There are as many reasons for people to vote as there are voters. This is just one guy - I'll bet even money that he actually votes Dem in Nov. Your characterization of him seems a bit harsh.

2. Over hyped nonsense.
This is a republican ploy to make Dems "think" that voters are going to vote republican in the GE because of either Obama or Hillary or McCain, they don't settle on which.

The republics have to do this cuz they see the handwriting on the wall. Thousands and thousands of new voters are signing up as Dems and will vote Dem. If history is any lesson, the election belons to US, the Democrats! Believe it!

3. ehhh the 140,000 as of a week ago, newly registered Dem's
are not newly registered to vote for Clinton, so I have no fear in that. And the polls say so as well.

4. Does Penn. have a poll challenger law?
If I lived there, and such a law existed, I'd like to stop people at the polls who don't "look" like Democrats and challenge their suffrage.

6. And after you did, you'd hope universal health care existed.

7. Oh yeah, that would be great publicity.
Republicans would be running that video for the next 20 years.

8. intent.
If they vote with the intent of undermining the Democratic position in the GE, I have a problem with it regardless.
