Helen Thomas
Helen Thomas had some things to say...

If any media personality in this country knows American politics any better than Helen Thomas, please let me know. She is older than dirt and in a lot of ways she makes more sense. One thing that has irked me about the current primary discussion is the attempts by so many to push Clinton out of a race that has done nothing if not to build our party to a never seen before size (well, at least since FDR that is). Why on earth would we want to end it when we still have about a 1/5th of state left to vote? I have no idea. This is just one reason to continue the first competitive election in recent POTUS Democratic history rather than just anointing a victor before everyone has had their say. Here is another via good ol'Helen:
I am still trying to find the key that has made Obama a prime candidate for the presidency, and to understand what he has done for the country beyond his middle-of-the-road political moves to make his name known and to steer clear of hot-button issues.
Yeah, me too Helen. And while I might not pay as much attention to politics as Helen Thomas, I pay a bit and I have been looking. I still only see the rhetorical and a great many people enthused about this rhetoric. This is great- and I honestly mean it. However, we Democrats and hope
