Sen. Voinevitch at Petraus hearing ok, he's a republican.. this is worth seeing (esp. if you're an Obama supporter). Also does a good job of illuminating the stupidity of the military surge with no comparable diplomatic surge.

4. Kinda was hoping we got something like this from the Dem
candidates but Obama had to let everyone know he was against the war from the beginning just like every one does not know that and that he gave a speech in 2002 if someone does not believe him. HRC had the better questions today. Obama was so leary of sounding like Bush and his stumbling....but I would like to just ask a question about obama and his 2002 speech. well, it's several questions.Where was Obama's big anti-war speech in 2003? Where was Obama's big anti-war speech in 2004, at Kerry's convention?Where was Obama's big anti-war speech in 2005? Where was Obama's big anti-war speech in 2006? Where was Obama's anti-war filibuster in 2007? Was stopping the war worth standing up, Barack? Where was Obama's anti-war filibuster in 2008? Was stopping the war worth standing up, Barack?

Perhaps HRC has been right all along when she was asking, "If he's got more than a 2002 speech - where is it?"

5. It's somewhat comforting that Crocker will likely be left there, even after the troops are gone.
Enjoy that great big office.

8. LOL good point. Another poster somewhere suggested after Bush gets out of office
that he should be made Ambassador to Iraq.. wouldn't that be sweet.

6. Why do they always talk about the consequences of
leaving when we are already paying the terrible consequences of staying in Iraq?
