4. It is True That When Obama Gets Large Amounts from Small Contributors
he does not have a major obligation to any individual donor. That's worth a lot.

5. And think about it - No other candidate until Barack has been able to pull this together!!!
The citizens are speaking! There are some who support Hillary and that is fine - it is a free country. But with the majority of the country giving Barack Obama the overwhelming monetary support he is receiving it speak volumes!!!

Like Barack says - no matter what - we won't be dubbed this time - we are focused!

Not This Time!!!!!!!!!!

12. Actually, Dean and Obama both pulled in similar numbers at the start.

Obama is following Dean's fundraising formula. Which may explain the Clintons ignoring Obama's fundraising. Dean did it and was soundly beaten. So why not Obama?

But Dean was anti-war before anti-war became popular, which frightened a too many Democrats.

Obama also has the same Chicago machine on his side that almost saved Gore in 2000. When Gore was freefalling in the polls in September 2000, he revamped his campaign, hiring William Daley (brother of Da Mayor) who took the Chicago team national for the first time. When I saw Obama hiring the same people, I figured his chances this election were very good.

6. This is the one answer that resolves the campaign financing issue.
If we are willing as small donors in the millions to support our candidates we significantly change the dynamic that has dominated
politics for the last thirty years. We reclaim control of our government. We go a long way to restoring truly representative government to
the people of this country.

I think Obama's campaign has changed this process in a major way going forward. His model will be used by candidates who
truly want to represent us and not the corporations and pacs. In the future how a candidate finances his or her campaign
will tell us much about who they will be working for, because now they have a choice.

I, personally know, how empowering it has been to make the sacrifices necessary to participate in this excellent form of
campaign financing reform. It is worth every penny I have spent and more.
