No one should feel afraid to post a positive post about Hillary or Bill
here. I'm mad as hell at the Clinton camp, but I do know that other folks see it differently, and when I see really good people here writing that they had an experience they'd like to share but know that in so doing they're going to get verbally assaulted, and then that's exactly what happens, I'm standing with that person. And in this case, it just happened to one of the fairest, nicest people on this board.

Positive posts with no backhanded attacks should be fire free zones. I'll go at it hammer and tongs in threads that I feel unfairly attack Obama, but I won't go into positive posts about Hillary or Bill if I don't have something good to say. Can't most of us agree on that?

And this is for dsc, because he's a really good guy and a good poster.

4. Yes they should. Because they'll be pummelled to SHIT by the Lord of the Flies crowd.
What should be isn't what IS.

It's a total joke. People can't even "talk amongst themselves" in the frigging HRC forum, because the "Flies" run around disrupting and alerting. And the mods seem pretty selective about what troubles them, too.

Call someone a Republikkkan because they support HRC? Or a McCain supporter? No problem.

It's a no-win situation. They may as well name this forum Obama Underground, because many of the HRC supporters have left.

It's all good, though. It gets us out and phone banking for HRC, while the tools hang out here slapping each other on the back.

The lack of something positive is hardly the expression of a negative.

22. Neither did I. I spoke frankly and honestly. Clinton supporters SHOULD be forewarned
that the Big O crowd will crap on them in every corner of this board, even to the point where they follow them to their own candidate forum.

If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. That includes putting up a post where you slyly make that point. Otherwise, it is akin to damning someone with faint, or more appropriately no, praise.

20. the point is that Cali tried to reach across and say something positive and you wanted to
sabotage it. There are enough crappy threads to go and dry hump on so why come into a thread when someone is trying to do the right thing and go for the low road?

21. Oh, sabotage, my ass. There are thousands of brutal threads on this forum.
Just because there's one "take a breather before we resume beating the shit out of the few Clinton supporters who remain here" thread, no one is ALLOWED to be HONEST?

Truth is truth, and all I spoke was truth.

Get over yourself.

28. No, I am not "an ass" but way to ignore those DU rules. And I'm not going to be "bitter"
at any time, because life is too short for that, and I am an adult. I know what's important, and the assertions of a pissant apprentice baiter on an anonymous message board certainly isn't.

Get over yourself. You really are a bit heavily invested, to the point that you project your own behavior on to others. Not the behavior of a grownup, that.

30. the only behavior that I seek to project is simple courtesy and manners. When a peson starts
a concilatory thread meant to encourage people to support others take your vile contemptuous garbage to anyone of the other thousands of threads where it will not be noticed. You state that you are an adult and yet you act the adolescent. Your hostility is conspicuous. The next time someone makes a simple request that people show restraint so that an opposing view be heard resist tht overpowering urge that compels you to embarass yourself with rudeness. There are threads for that - you can even start them yourself. Your patronizing tone is made more ridiculous by the invective you pass out.

rodeodance had a very good one yesterday about Clinton's policy for adding more police.

threads that highlight personal experiences are the best regardless of the candidate.

33. I'm a neutral poster, and just posted a Hillary video I liked in the HRC Group Forum...
instead of even Political Videos. I feel like a coward now, after reading your post -- but I knew a video of Hillary impersonating Jack Nicholson endorsing her on L.A. radio, which I thought was kind of cute, would probably be responded to mostly with the throw-up emoticon.

I know the abuse here is two-way, but the Hillary supporters, at the least, are outnumbered, and IMO suffer from that.

Thanks for your post, cali.
