I think that Obama should call on Mitch McConnell to fucking, apologize to Hillary, right now.
As for Obama's Democratic rival, McConnell said U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York seems to be " teetering on the brink."

"I hear she hasn't been this worried since a new Hooters opened" near her home with former President Bill Clinton, McConnell said, prompting laughs from the 400 Northern Kentucky Republicans.

What person running for President would let this slip by and not call McConnell on this.

Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 05:00 PM by MercutioATC
Of course Obama shouldn't be responsible for condemning that, any more than Clinton should be expected to condemn Davis' "boy" comment.

If a candidate or, to a lesser degree, a member of a campaign says something offensive, that candidate should be expected to make a comment.

Otherwise, it's all just silly.

42. I think they get a bad rap
(from perverts like McConnell.) There is a very good one on Decatur Street in New Orleans just inside the French Quarter. The food is very good, reasonably priced, ambience is great, lots of sports TV's (with the volume at a reasonable level) and the wait staff is obviously trained to provide good service. Yes, they have skimpy outfits but nothing obscene. And I must concur, there wings are great and they have a great Breast Wing Sandwich which has a nice spicy zip to it.

Please, please leave the candidate's children alone ... they shouldn't have to know about their parent's shortcomings.

And, poor humor is no excuse.

Of course, Obama should be calling for everyone to be apologizing for all the jokes Americans have made at Bill Clinton's expense over the past ten years -- you know, for Chelsea's sake at least.

Oh, poor Chelsea, what must she be thinking?

No wonder old Hill is slugging down the whiskey -- knowing the kind of jokes Republicans are telling about her and Bill.

The tragedy of it all.
