Pulitzer Prize Winner Dana Priest Confirms Hillary's Bosnia Story on HBO's Real Time

I just saw this past Friday's show. BM showed a vid of Bill Clinton defending Hillary and then while they were cracking themselves up, Priest said something really interesting.

She said that Hillary's plane had to make a crazy corkscrew landing and that probably got her confused. Maher then made hand motions of a corkscrew landing and Priest went into detail saying they make "these. Types. Of. Landings. To. Evade ... gunfire."

While she was struggling not to say "snipers" it got very uncomfortable, until Jason Alexander broke it and they all got back to bashing.


Just sayin' ...

The CBS video is a snippet only. One of my complaints is that the sound is edited out and it does not show her deboarding and so you can not see if she ducked or ran or showed signs of fear. YOu can not hear if there was gunfire in the distance because the sound was edited, either, And it is too short.


Where is the rest of the footage?

That still doesn't mitigate her false claims about what happened after the plane landed.

I heard an interview with one of the pilots that flew these types of planes during that time saying this exact thing. The corkscrew landing was the only way to safely land in that location. It had nothing whatsoever to do with evading fire and everything to do with geography.

One thing that I have never heard discussed with this whole Bosnia sniper stuff is the issue of whether Hillary *ever* had to deal with sniper fire in any situation. If she did... if she had to avoid snipers a time or two then one could, I suppose excuse her confusing this time with one of those other times. I suspect she has never had to deal with snipers at any time. Which makes the issue of "confusion" nakedly implausible.

easily have just described the corkscrew landing as evidence that the trip was
dangerous -- she didn't need to embellish the story with the running to get
into cars, etc.

Thats NOT an indication of actual gunfire, just following standard proceedures.

To avoid any potential gun fire as they are landing in a fricken war zone?


Jeez, the truth comes out. Clinton has been vilifed by the media and by Americans and was right all along.

Everyone owes her an apology.

and that the welcoming ceremony was cancelled. There are photos of the welcoming ceremony. Her story has been completely debunked by every possible source, from the child who welcomed her with a poem about the new peace, to the pilot, to Sinbad who was with her, to reporters on the trip. And do you really think they would have landed in a dangerous environment with the First Lady and Chelsea? You're embarassing yourself.

One landing into Bien Hoa in January 1968, one into Tan Son Nhut in May 1968 and another in November 1968 - MAC flights - steep banking turn over airfield. No gunfire. Just precautionary.

Dana Priest said that Dana Priest had gone through corkscrew landings before and explained what they were to Maher. She didn't confirm that HRC had done a corkscrew landing in Bosnia.

In fact the pilot has gone on record saying he didn't.

I think he is doomed, You know God Damn America and the likes.

If he is the nominee.

Only thing really bugs me about it though is the compulsory faith fest.

The pilot who flew her in said there was no corkscrew landing, the other passengers said there wasn't, and the newspaper accounts said there wasn't. The only person saying the opposite is Hillary.
