1. Somebody really...
...needs to define "progressive" and "Democrat" for me. Both words are thrown around on this board interchangeably with one another. They don't mean the same thing...I think.

2. It's easy for me-
If a yellow dog has D behind his/her name it gets my vote. Progressive is a wing of the party but is not the whole party.

8. THANK YOU!!!! It efing GALLS me to see Democrats
adopt the demeaning term the Republicans have ASSIGNED to our party.
Are they the "Republic" party? Well come to think of it, maybe they are.

6. Progressive Democrat
What that means to me is that I am progressive in political values, but I choose the Democratic Party, instead of another party such as the Greens, as the means to promote those progressive policies. Although I am a Democrat, I will not support a Democratic candidate who does not share my progressive values such as certain pro-war Democrats or corporate-owned Democrats who support free trade deals and job outsourcing.

7. Progressive and, unfortunately
there is no true progressive candidate remaining in the race. As usual.

9. It depends
quite frequently when it comes to local state politics I vote for the progressive party member. I regularly voted for Jim Jeffords who was a repuke- and I never regretted it. I always vote for Bernie and he's an independent, and I always vote for the dem presidential nominee.
