THREE more weeks, and we are done with the Clintons!
I cannot wait till this race ends after Obama wins NC and Indiana in three weeks. We will finally be done with Hillary, Bill, Carville, Penn, and company.

Lets start the countdown!

4. It was actually a long time before this.
The only reasons it's still going: Hillary's refusal to accept reality, and the media spinning the situation as though she has a chance in hell, when she doesn't, because the story generates ratings. If she were anyone BUT Hillary Clinton, she'd have been gone already.

5. I only saw Halloween I once (where
Jamie Lee Curtis is babysitting) and from what I remember every time you thought Michael was finished off, he came back onto the screen. This primary saga is so like that movie.

6. Do you know the song "Ten Green Bottles"
countdown................substitute for states

Ten green bottles
Hanging on the wall
Ten green bottles
Hanging on the wall
And if one green bottle
Should accidentally fall
There'll be nine green bottles
Hanging on the wall

Nine green bottles
Hanging on the wall
Nine green bottles
Hanging on the wall
And if one green bottle
Should accidentally fall
There'll be eight green bottles
Hanging on the wall

*8
*7
*6
*5
*4
*3
*2

One green bottle
Hanging on the wall
One green bottle
Hanging on the wall
If that one green bottle
Should accidentally fall
There'll be no green bottles
Hanging on the wall

Though I can emphasize with you. I don't like it when Senator Clinton supporters say stuff like this either.

I wish for this to be done and over with, I bet most of us do.

14. Not gonna happen
Hillary has caused too much acrimony in the way she's chosen to campaign to merit any consideration for VP. She won't be on the top of the ticket, so VP is her only chance. And she won't be offered that. She's burnt too many bridges for conciliation.

You can bookmark this. If Hillary gets the VP slot, I'll donate one hundred dollars to the charity or political candidate of your choice.

16. You're wrong on several fronts. First, the race doesn't end until June 3 and there is no decent
reason for Obama to demand (through his surrogates) that it should. Second, you don't know that Obama will win IN. Third, Hillary is still a U.S. Senator and a damn good one at that.

23. The race ends when we have a nominee
for all intents and purposes we have our nominee.

You may find that unpleasant, unbelievable, or disappointing -- but it does not change the numbers.

Let's support the Democratic president that Sen. Clinton will be working with, providing we can get our party's candidate elected.

I know it's hard to hear -- but we have a nominee to support, right now. Continuing to back the trailer with Huckabee-like numbers is to trade in, well, false hope. I'm very sorry; but go to DemConWatch, pull out Slate's Delegate calculator, and brace yourself for the cold water of the numbers.
