Predictions For Tonight's Debate On Clinton Attacks
Here are my predictions below for more of the kitchen sink attacks from Hillary Clinton in a desperate attempt to change the game before the Pennsylvania primary in order to widen her margin on election day:

  • Look for her to attack Obama on the latter part of his "bitter" comments, especially the "cling to guns and religion" part and this is what she will focus on instead of the bitter comments, because that gives him a stronger opening. She'll try to put him on defense on that one.

  • The current USAToday article says that Obama's fundraisers are lawyers in law firms that employ lobbyists, and this is what she'll use to spin away in defense of her lobbyist contributions by attacking him on this.

  • She'll attack him on NAFTA, of course, as an attempt to deflect attention away from her own ties to NAFTA.

  • Basically, anything that's a negative for her, she'll use as a means of deflection onto Obama. It's the basic Rovian principle at work here. Feel free to add your own predictions below so we can better formulate a response to these tired, predictable attacks from Clinton.

    4. we'll see if he gets that question first instead of Clinton
about the "cling" part of his comments, because he can use that as an opportunity to reframe the argument that he made to his benefit. And of course, Clinton, will attack him on this in her response to his answer. Hopefully he'll get a follow-up response to her attack.

    5. Are the fund raisers paid?
They work at the same place as do lobbyists? That's a rather thin connection.

    7. Basically he should attack her on her old school politics of sound bite wars.

And let her keep beating a dead horse on bitter and then he can explain why people are bitter.. As if she doesn't already know.

    12. That's what I think. She's a stone wall.
Only when she's the only one on stage does she go into her rants.

If that's the case, OB will just have to SHINE. He has that shine, did you notice?

    10. I want her to give Obama her best shot. .....
I know he is the better debater and will counter her ....making her look impotent and feeble. Yet he will do it with style and class ...

    14. She'll lay traps, not spring them
She'll try to get him to respond to something she says (or she'll just say something that she will respond to again later after unearthing "new" oppo research that she already has) in a way that her campaign can later spin (with an already prepared rollout strategy) as:

    - elitist
    - sexist
    - inexperienced

This is the pattern. Honored --> Shame on you. Unity --> the snub. Healthcare --> ganging up. etc.
