Not too many thrills up Chris Matthews leg tonight!
The first real debate of the campaign and not another nauseating obamaphilefest. Well done ABC and I expect to see your ratings roar seeing as for the first time the anointed one was thrown hard questions and not eiderdown pillows.
This woman is well on truly on her game. Her intellect was so transparently stronger as she flawlessly fielded question after question while her opponent floundered. She has the leadership and the backbone to be pres.
As for Barrack, he sounded like Charile Brown's teacher.
Barrack stuttered badly on the capital gains tax answer revealing himself to be dangerously clueless as to the workings of the economy – HRC by contrast demonstrated her profound knowledge of this area.
At times he looked so petty - cheesed off that his precious self was actually getting tough questions.
You could almost see a balloon above his head : ‘Mommy, Charlie and George are being mean to me!! Can I go over to Timmy and Brian's house?’
Gibson brought up the 1996 gun control questionnaire.Obama spoofed and said his handwriting was not on that questionnaire. Looks like ‘questionnairegate’ may join his already impressive list of ‘gates’.
It has been crystal clear from the beginning of the primary season that Hillary is the far superior candidate for President. In each debate she has run rings around Obama. She is strong on foreign policy, the economy, she has tons of progressive ideas about our energy crisis, creating jobs and the list goes ON AND ON AND ON.........so this isn't really about who is more qualified. It's blatantly obvious it is Hillary. But Obama is still in this because some people simply don't want a woman for President. Obama has an endless supply of money. He has gotten kid glove treatment from the media. Some people just don't like the Clintons. Some people don't like Bill. But they need to stop with Obama's hope and change crap because it's all bullshit. He is not the more qualified person to be the nominee, to beat McCain or run this country.
Take a bow, Madame President!

1. The first real debate was about the candidates pastors, gaffes, and general BS.
Sad how things have changed.

5. Nothing has changed. It's always been this way.
It's just that our focus has crystallized because we're more attuned to this campaign.

When the media sets up a horse race, you end up with horsesh*t.

9. Where else could we put her? Gawd knows we can't have her being
embarrassed, because she's not winning. This is driving me crazy.

13. Here it comes the Clinton Machine rolling on DU
I wonder if the Clinton employees who have been writing up a
storm on DU the last few days are getting paid by the word.
ABC - My God what a joke that was- a debate? More like a
hatchet job.
Now I'm BITTER.
With all of the substantive issues facing us
ABC puts their empty suits up to asking about
Rev. Wright
Bill Ayers
the "bitter" remark
Flag Pins

It goes to show you that our Corporate masters are starting to
get worried about Obama's message and momentum.
