9. I must be a boob
Because she got the worst "trap question" of the night the way I see it... which is whether she thought Obama could beat McCain.

If she says "yes", as she did, she is admitting that she has no "electability" argument to the superdelegates.

If she had said "no" she would have been hammered for helping ensure a Democratic defeat in the fall should she fail to get the nomination.

12. Boo hoo...that's her own damn fault
For playing dirty with the supers. She shouldn't have ever HAD to have her minions badmouthing Obama's electability if she'd been able to win on her own merit, so there she sits. Tough.

19. It sounds like Obama and Co. got a taste of what it's like to be Hillary Clinton.
I had to work and couldn't watch the debate but, judging from what I've read here, Obama's free pass has finally expired. Good.

4. Fantastic
Thanks for finding these cartoons. I like the second one. Last night's debate was a disappointment. Actually, that second cartoon is a rather good idea...

6. The second cartoon isn't a bad idea at all
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 09:08 AM by davidpdx
except change it to a flag sticker (I think perhaps it would be safer overall) and mail it to Gibson. It sure would show him that the price of oil is hitting the middle class harder then people like him.

Does anyone think this is worth doing?

7. I agree. And adding the weight of a pin isn't necessary to make the point.
An American flag sticker will work just fine.

21. Sending the flag pin is a great idea.
I'm going to get a few and send them to out. Maybe even to the ones I like as a thank you for not going there.

23. I'm going to start wearing a flag pin
as soon as I get the solid words to say behind it, if asked. (Ideas, anyone?)

I'm thinking something along the lines of:

"To protest the price of oil" (leaning toward this one)

"George and Charlie think its important"

"ABC thinks I should"

"Its all the rage!"
