Clinton SuperDelegate SWITCHES to Obama (D.C.)
http://thepage.time.com/2008/04/17/obama-nabs-oklahoma-superdelegate/

With the clinton loss, and the OK pick-up - that's a Net 3 for Obama today.
D.C. City Council Member Harry Thomas Jr. says he will withdraw his support for Clinton in favor of Obama.

Says he must follow the 83 percent of his constituents who backed the Land of Lincolner.

6. They're supporting the Delegate Leader - so they're fine.
Which is exactly what most of the undecided SDs are going to do when this is said and done. :hi:

SD's going against the delegate vote is the only way she can win.

25. Please provide a realistic scenario
in which she can "win this thing". Wishful thinking begins to look very silly at this point.

22. If all superdelegates vote the way their states did, Obama wins
He's won more states, more districts, more votes, etc. - so give Kennedy's and Kerry's votes to Hillary, as long as all superdelegates do the same.

10. He picked up and OK SD, and HRC lost one
When she loses one to undecided, it's just a -1 for her. When she loses one to Obama, it's nets a -2, because she loses and he gains. So with the OK SD, and the DC Switch, it's a Net +3 for Obama on the overall numbers.

18. Blow-back & boomerangs
The American public has had enough of this trivializing of the election and reject the gutter politics that we are being served by the Clinton camp, the rw, and the media. Any politician worth her/his salt would respect the groundswell of public opinion and leave Clinton on the curb.

Plus Six: Obama Adds Another Superdelegate
17 Apr 2008 10:24 am
By my count, Obama has won the backing of six superdelegates since last week to Clinton's zero. The latest superdelegate, per the Washington Post: DC city councilman Harry Thomas, Jr. He is a former Clinton supporter.

23. I saw on the news a couple weeks ago if every SD switched to represent the will of their voters,
Hillary would lose 71 SDs and Obama would lose 51. That's for everyone complaining about Kerry and Kennedy not supporting the winner of their state. :hi:
