I have been seeing Kerry stickers in areas I would assume to be somewhat conservative...and I saw these stickers on SUVs and pickup trucks, which is probably the most interesting part! The most interesting was a Kerry sticker and a sticker next to it saying "George W Bush is a muggle". Strange, but funny.

Yesterday I had to stop at my friend's brother's home, and the first thing I do when I go to someone's house is kinda wander (not into the rooms or out of their site of course.. I don't snoop), but just in their living room, to see what kind of books they read, etc...then I see two Kerry stickers sitting there. They looked new, so I'm guessing they were ready to put it on their cars.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to ask them about the stickers, but it was a good thing to see nevertheless!

1. I think this movie (F/911 of course) will give people courage

to show their true thoughts more than ever. I may be in the minority, but I actually think that there are a lot of people in this country who do not support Bush, they just are afraid or don't know how to express their opinions. This movie will propel some of them to take action and not sit on their behinds!

2. Actually you're right on this one as I'll shamefully confess
I go to the UofA, overall a very liberal college, and all I have the balls to do is put a Kerry sticker on my car.

I guess I just haven't gone much further because I don't feel like having some redneck start a fight with me, but ya know what? I don't care anymore, I won't stoop to their level and crack any heads if provoked, but I just ordered a Kerry tshirt which I plan to wear loud and proud as we all should.

With this movie out, I'd say the bush supporters should be the ones hiding in shame not us.

4. Be fearless, noah!
I wear unapologetically obnoxious, in-your-face liberal shirts in my 85% Repub area in Texas, and I've never been accosted.

I've gotten more curious questions than anything else. Some people have said they admire my bravery. You meet more sympathetic souls this way! Advertise your beliefs! They are something to be proud of!

Get involved, you will feel so much better! Find your local Democratic club (do a google search for your county name and Democrats). I didn't figure we'd have one out here, but we DID! The camaraderie gives me strength every day. And the folks are the ones you end up seeing at precinct, county, and state caucuses. Lots of new friends.

Get registered as a deputy voter registrar to go out and register new voters (It's easy! Look on your voter regstration card, then call that number. Ask them how you go about becoming a deputy registrar-- they'll tell you where their office is and how it works. You just take about 10 minutes, sign a few papers, and take a short oath.)

Go a Democratic meetup (www.meetup.com). There are a bazillion topics to check out (From Kerry, to Democracy for America (Dean's new org), to local candidates). Find an issue and get involved. I was never into politics before last summer. Now it's like air to me. I need it to breathe.

Good luck! Let us know about your progress!

5. I live in Orange County, CA
Orange County has a reputation of being conservative, and I have been seeing more Kerry stickers than Bush stickers in the last few days!
