2. I think that's one of those moments
Where I'll always remember where I was and what I was doing. I was visiting my girlfriend in NJ when her mom came down the stairs and asked me "aren't you an Obama fan?" I said yes, and she told me to turn on the TV because he just won Iowa. I flipped out, it was a great night.

5. I've got to say, that was a big surprise to me.
Remember when Michelle Obama was criticized for saying that Obama had to win Iowa (or else it was basically over). I'm one of those who thought she was right, and it would likely be over!

8. It struck me how they all chanting U.S.A,
in this case it seemed like they were saying it NOT just because that was the "patriotic" thing to do, like rethug jingoists, but because they genuinely had hope for the future of this country again that night

9. SC was amazing too
I was just rewatching SC and Iowa footage.

I remember being pretty upset right before SC, thinking he needed to win by at least 10% or he was done. I watched CNN for like 5 hours straight watching him win by 28%. :)
