Today is the FEC filing deadline
keep an eye on this site:

Last month it took a couple of days for Clinton/Obama's reports to get up on line.

I will be interested in HOW the candidate's money was raised and HOW MUCH DEBT the candidates have.

And of course CASH ON HAND for the remainder of the primary.

There is lots of standing water all over.

Back to the subject, McCain is getting a free ride by not only the remaining candidates but any local politicos. While we sit here fighting about Clinton/Obama the IRP just held their district conventions and are gearing up for state. What is the IDP doing?

5. Actually Friday was the deadline
If the deadline is on a non-working day, reports have to be in by close of business of the last working day - Friday.

I hope they update the online report tomorrow.

Geez, they have taken time to put up 7 others but not the 2 that matter the most?? How hard can this stuff be to upload?

I don't know if it's automatically on the site if they file electronically or if someone has to actually do the magic to get the report up. I have no clue.

The top Dem and GOP candidates' reports aren't there. The latest reporting date for those that are there is 4/19. Kinda looks like the reports go up pretty quickly.

10. Everything is done electronically
I audited a PAC 5 years ago. All the information is entered online by the campaign. The FEC doesn't automatically post it because they review the information first.

12. I think the filings are rather cumbersome and it's probably easier
to put the smaller ones up first. :shrug:

7. If that's the case, then the numbers must be really bad, because they
weren't released to the press by the Clinton camp or we would have heard about them. I think Clinton is hoping they'll just quietly go up and the press won't notice or report on it.

if the due date is on a non-buisness day the deadline is moved to the next business day. :hi:

19. Yep, read them already and may I say thank you to Joe Biden for paying his Iowa bills
He dropped out the night of the caucuses, but continued to work at paying his bills here in Iowa. Thank you Joe Biden, your keeping at it and doing the right thing will help local Iowa candidates in getting credit for their runs for office. (Yeah, that's a crack at Hillary Clinton who raises more money in a week than Joe Biden raised in his entire campaign and STILL hasn't paid her Iowa bills x()
