Edwards leading choice for VP among Nebraska Democratic Delegates

LINCOLN, Neb. - Sen. John Edwards is the top choice to become John Kerry's running mate among Nebraska's delegates to the upcoming Democratic National Convention, according to an Associated Press survey.

Of the 31 delegates, 12 said they want to see the North Carolina lawmaker run with Kerry, the party's presumptive nominee.

"I think people really respond to him and he would help balance the ticket," said delegate Danielle Nantkes of Lincoln.

Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack and retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark were named by three delegates each, while former Sen. Sam Nunn of Georgia got two votes.

New York senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico and Rep. Dick Gephardt each got one vote, while eight delegates were undecided.

You can't say anything nice about your VP preference without using something against others' VP preference. You just can't do it!

There's a whole thread right now in which I don't think your candidate is mentioned AT ALL (or he wasn't last time I checked).
In any case, we can go at least 25 posts or more without making inane and insane references.

It's both a joke about how predictable those posts are and it's an attempt to perhaps shame people from posting those comments.

It's not about clark. It's about the S-troops.

This isn't the only state where this has happened. CL posted before that in IL 85% of the delegates wanted Edwards as VP.

One thing it shows that he does have support beyond the South and does well in the Midwest States.

in the end it will only be John Kerry's view that matters.

Edwards is taking the week off. Elizabeth's birthday is July 3 and so they are doing some much needed R&R in NC
