Final Rasmussen PA Poll: Clinton 49 - Obama 44
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 09:28 AM by thesubstanceofdreams
Not one of the final PA polls has Hillary leading by more than 10 points (Suffolk has her 10 up, the rest are in single digits, and the poll with the largest sample, PPP, has Obama up).

Unless ALL polls are way wrong again, Hillary will win by single digits at best. She needs a double digit win to keep any appearance of a race going forward, and by 20-25 at least to make any significative dent in Obama's delegate lead.

Things are looking bright for Obama indeed.

4. 7% undecided voters. If there's a 5 to 2 split, Clinton may end up with 10%

6. 10% is best case scenario for Hillary

This is great news. Remember just a couple of weeks ago there were polls where she was up almost 30 points! And from a delegate point of view, 30% is the least she needs to have any shot at winning the pledged delegate race. I'll take 10% in a heartbeat.

5. While this is good news. Let us expect the worst and hope for the best.
The large sample sizes in some of these polls have me feeling better but we do not know yet so let us hope for the best but expect the worst.

And also remember. Clinton is likely no longer planning for a +10 win. She is likely just hoping she can keep it over 5 so she has good room to say she is still in this race and donate and all that. My guess is her whole victory speech will center about her needing resources to continue so she can try to get some new donors for the warchest.

The funny thing will be if Obama gets more donations during the time period.

7. Rasmussen has a 7 point median error rate; So Obama could
lose by 12 - worst case scenario. Or win by 2 - best case scenario.
