PA Primary "will be essentially unrecountable, unverifiable, and unauditable."
VerifiedVoting.org summarizes the crucial contest

On Tuesday night, you will be told who the winner of the Pennsylvania Primary is. You will accept it. You will have no choice. No matter who the winner really is. Or isn't.

4. So if the exit polls and votes don't match up
but Hillary wins, you're going to be just fine with that? Screw Democracy - as long as MY candidate wins - is that it, then, for Hillary supporters? Just curious.

2. Yep, and that concerns me a great deal as it should concern all Americans....
Amazing that the Democrats took control of both houses in November 06 and they still did not fix the voting system in this country. There are many States that still are in serious trouble with voting (paperless) machines.

3. the only advantage we have is the fact that the "fixers" won't really know just how much to tweak it
because the polls are so wacky..

Fast Eddie will have egg on his face if the numbers are TOO "out-there", so they may actually miscalculate and end up on the losing side after all :)

I almost wish that people would just take the day off..go vote and then just STAY there..so a head count count "verify" their votes..or to set up a table outside with a notary, and have people stand up for their choice and sign their names for their candidates..

if a polling place has 400 registered voters,m and there are 300 Obama votes that are attributed to notarized names, it would be very hard to believe that HRC won with 360 votes to his 40...

5. Seems like Obamaites are already setting up the "voter fraud" excuse
After Hillary cleans up in PA tomorrow.

8. I don't lose an election and reflexively claim fraud.
In this case, even before votes are cast.

I'm not into the whole tinfoil conspiracy thing.

But I would agree with you that this thread should be moved off the main forum to its little dungeon.

7. Have more faith in Howard Dean. He's no fool
and knows their dirty tricks. So does Axelrod. Rendell's already been warned not to try anything.

11. Has he?
Has Rendell really been warned? I'd like to believe that's true. I don't trust the guy as far as I can throw him... and I am a pathetic weakling;)

13. Here you go. It was one of those sugar warnings
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 05:05 PM by Catherina
Rendell in March

RENDELL: “I had a call from Senator Obama and he said, you know I’m going to be the nominee, and I didn’t argue with him, I said, sure, and he said I just want to make sure nothing happens in Pennsylvania, the campaign here, that will make it harder for us to win in the fall. And I said, senator, don’t even worry about that for five seconds.”

The Clinton supporters called it Obama's arrogance. I call it a sugar warning not to turn the Dem Primaries into a worse farce.

I like that, lol....

Good for Obama! They can call it arrogance, but I'll just call it good judgment;)
