4. Drivel about the Death Penalty for
Chicago gang violence in 2001 and how Obama was against it.

And they managed to tie that to the war on terror as every Republican ad is required to do.

6. Weak on Chicago gang murders.
In a nuttshell:

Didn't support death penalty for gang murders. If he can't stand up to gangs, how can he stand up to terrorists?

--

All in all, a pretty weak ad. I'm just not sure where they'll be playing this for effect.

9. Lets not Drag Clinton into this. She will be the one to help deflect this attack with her Machine
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 08:42 PM by Zachstar
There is a reason Clinton is still effectively in this campaign after committing bad mistakes. Her machine is powerful and has a defensive measure that easily defeats this much crap.

It is going to be QUITE easy to defeat McCain.

And slowly those racists will grow out of it or Die. Personally I don't care what comes first.

35. You know what pisses me off - she had done jack shit about
Katrina - for Katrina survivors. She is the chair of Superfund and Environmental Health Subcommittee, the committee that should be studying the toxic fema trailers and their impact on the health of those who have lived in them for far too long. That subcommittee last meet in Oct of 07, the fema trailers were known to be hazardous in late '05 and early '06.

yeah, she is ready for anything if she can do it by making promises she can't live up to, judging of course, on her experience and actions.

I think the right wing will stoop to anything. Fear, fear, fear.

There are those who will say this isn't racist, but we should know better.

About Floyd Brown:

Floyd G. Brown is the Chairman of the Board of Citizens United, which he founded in 1988, and served as its founding President until 2000. He is also president of Excellentia Inc., "a company specializing in marketing to conservatives and Christians", described as "a new media company specializing in the IPTV field."<4> Brown served 2001 to 2006 as Executive Director of Young America's Foundation. In 1988, he was political director of Americans for Bush, which was affiliated with Citizens United. He also served as President of the Board of the Reagan Ranch, a division of the Young America's Foundation.

Brown is described as an "ultra-conservative" who "remains proud of the 1988 Willie Horton ad, widely denounced as racist pandering" by The Public Eye. Brown is "perhaps best known as being one of the major architects, along with Lee Atwater, behind the infamous and racist Willie Horton ad that some credit to George H.W. Bush winning the presidency in 1988," Bryan Pfeifer wrote February 5, 2007, in The UWM Post, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student newspaper.

27. WEAK WEAK WEAK WEAK.
That was the most weakest effort on a 527 ad I've ever seen in my entire life.

If this is what the Republicans has right now, I'm beginning to laugh and jump for joy in the prospect of Obama beating McCain by a near sweep of the states.

I'm sure McCain will be allowed the embarrassement of Arizona voting against him and Idaho voting for him.

it looks like he needs to start defending himself from two different groups now. I'm sure Clinton had nothing to do with this ad-- but i doubt that she is upset about it either.

32. There is a moratorium on the death penalty in Illinois
and has been for several years because it was established that it was being used more against blacks than whites. I think Obama is also against the death penalty in principle, if I am not mistaken. So this is really taking things out of context, but what do you expect from Republicans, whose morals are lower than those of terrorists.
