Today is going to be a contentious day...and night...unless you
are a resident of PA, you will not be voting today. With that in mind, it would be a good idea to keep the vitriol and overt nastiness out of the process today.

For the record, reality dictates that the negatives are already in, no one can do much more than pile crap on more crap...so why waste te effort?

If you want to post something nasty...go over to FR and let them know McCain sucks...big time.

Either Obama, Clinton...or God Forbid neither will come out of this holding a convincing lead, so let's let things go the way they are going to go, after all...the vast majority of us can do nothing about the result, why make enemies among ourselves?

Post something positive...you'll find it easier to live w/yourself...and with others...:)

1. Good idea every day
I'm so sick of the negative stuff. I'm very disappointed in our members here. We have seen a lot of cannabilistic behavior the past couple months. It doesn't benefit us as a party at all.

My Answer: Yes, that appears to be Puppy Food.

4. I think it's good advice for today.
I'm already in a bad mood, and I don't even live in Pennsylvania! I want to go watch the returns with some Hillary people, but I think I'm not going to - there will be more Obama people there, and I think I need a day off.

We did this for Texas/OHio and it was very successful. I stayed in there the entire night and a bunch of us were able to talk primaries with out any of the nastiness.

If people would get that through their heads, we could be done with this charade of a primary.

And you posted delegate information that is just WRONG. Where I vote hasn't got a thing to do with you posting information that is wrong.

28. Where was I "wrong"? Do you think all of this nastiness has done
anything except divide people among two good candidates?

Do you think this nastiness brings anyone to view the other side w/respect?

PA is voting today, and if one is not voting in PA, they have nothing to do w/the outcome of what happens. The people of PA will make a decision, come what everyone else has to say.

Where was I "wrong"?

31. It's impossible for "neither" to have a convincing lead
Because Obama already has the lead and Hillary can't make it up. That's the problem and your post only perpetuates the problem. If people would tell the damn truth about PA, that she has to win with 60% and she isn't going to, then all the nastiness would be gone. But people like you keep posting WRONG information, which helps people think there's still something at stake, so the nastiness continues. If you want to end the nastiness, post the damn truth.

And we ALL have a stake in the outcome so to tell everybody except PA people to shut up is just absurd.

35. If Obama walks away with this, that would be a convincing lead,
and make him the presumptive nominee; if HRC takes all of 158 delegates, that makes her run still viable; it also presents the dilemma of no clear winner. This opens up the possibility of Super Delegates rallying around HRC...there is nothing false in what I have posted.

It depends on outcomes, and there are too many variables.

As a fact of the matter, this is what I feel is absolute insanity: A Primary that began after the last election, has left some excellent candidates in the dust; has been interminable; has had "debates" that have done little more than allow the two candidates to do little more than posture...and most certainly has shown the nation that some D's just can't accept that there may be flaws in their own candidate while being more than happy to torch another w/o the thought of the ramifications.

You are entitled to believe in what you want, but I have given the scenarios, and all of them are viable.

And by the way, my post stated that those who are not voting, have no say in what in happens in PA, I did not tell anyone to "shut up", nor would I. I did ask for people to discuss things, and stop the vitriol, that should not be a problem for most people.

39. So far...things are going as expected, not just in PA, but here
on DU as well.

We shall see what happens when the dust settles...nothing is written in stone, and I have to wonder how they can call an election w/some &% of the vote in.

It's up to 50% now, w/HRC in the 5 pt bracket...we shall see, then celebrations and dismay will become the order of the day. Two fine candidates, apparently will continue this on to IN & SC.

Let's hope they get down to tearing McCain to pieces...it's much easier, and a LOT more fun...:D
