4. George W. Bush invaded a country to stop them from getting nukes before they had them
All American Presidents adhered to the policy of Mutually Assured Destruction during the Cold War. We had international ballistic missiles targeting every major population center inside the Soviet Union with the literal intention of obliterating the Soviet Union if they ever used nuclear weapons against us or our allies first. The only threat against Iran expressed was if they nuked Israel first.

11. You clearly misunderstood me
The OP asked about Bush. Bush initiated military aggression when aggression wasn't needed, when no one claimed Iraq even had nukes let alone had already used one on another nation. So I think pointing out that Bush failed to use a certain word in a mere verbal threat is stupid on the face of it.

8. There is a huge difference here....Iran does not have nuclear weapons like Russia did
In fact the intelligence briefing showed that they are years away from having them.

Hillary's fierce words are typical Hillary. She has to look macho, lest she be viewed weak. This is why Hillary voted for IWR. That is why Hillary voted for Kyl-Lieberman. That is why she, like her buddy McCain, pooh-poohed the idea of talking with our enemies. ANd it is why she uses language that goes way beyond what the Republicans even use, obliterating Iran.

Hillary Clinton is the most likely candidate, republican or democrat, to lead us into an unnecessary war in my view. Because she has this need to look macho. I don't think she has it in her to pass on the opportunity to wage war. I am thankful she was not in charge during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

13. She described the consequences of a policy of nuclear deterrence
when another nation uses nuclear weapons first against America or an ally. That has always been the case. What do you think the words "assured destruction" meant during the cold war?

14. The real question is, why isn't the media giving this any attention?
You'd think she'd made the comment she prefers hot dogs to hamburgers at a picnic. Silence. The talking heads can't stop their Rev. Wright chatter long enough to even mention it.
