Senator Obama turned me on to his books, his vision, his hope,
his integrity. He didn't do 'the right thing' when he should have thrown Wright overboard when it could have been politically expedient.

Has Senator Barack Obama done anything that is underhanded? Has his campaign?

I have my presidental pick, but anyone who can claim a reason why Clinton (Hil, not Bill) might deserve that, let me know!

1. Certainly not going to get an argument from me... I am so proud of Barack H Obama at ...
this moment, and honored to be his supporter. Both he and Rev. Wright are absolute in my humble opinion.... I just love em both.

12.  Racial toxic stew? You better back that up or shut up. I don't see it. And
rodeodance, nothin' for nothin', but you're gross. Who are you repeating? You have been on DU a long time. Tell me something good besides 'a racist ... stew'. It never happened. Explain that.

17. That poster, a former favorite of mine, is pretty much poisoned
by rancor now. Pretty much a lost cause, sadly. Don't let it bother you.

5. Obama is a man of integrity and
I wouldn't be supporting any other way.

A President is suppose to be an inspiration not some street brawler.

8. I really have so much faith in Obama.
It's so weird to have hope after so many years of no hope. Inspiration works!

14. No argument here. He is a class act all the way.
I cannot think of one thing he has done that is underhanded or untoward....

His refusal to get rid of Wright under the threat of losing the nomination reminds me of a saying that old convicts and older veterans used to use:

He is a stand up guy.

Means he is loyal and faithful to his friends under all circumstances.

His friendship is not for sale, and it will not waver under pain.

He will not abandon you.

It is Christian in every sense of the word.

I have one or two friends who meet that description.

And my wife, who is a stand up guy, too.

19. Obama apologizes for memo plot to play race card, tells staff to never do it again. Link:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0108/7944.html

Obama took responsibility for the memo for the first time during Tuesday's debate in Las Vegas.

Asked by moderator Tim Russert whether, in hindsight, he regretted “pushing this story,” Obama said, “Well, not only in hindsight, but going forward. I think that, as Hillary said, our supporters, our staff get overzealous. They start saying things that I would not say. And it is my responsibility to make sure that we're setting a clear tone in our campaign, and I take that responsibility very seriously, which is why I spoke yesterday and sent a message in case people were not clear that what we want to do is make sure that we focus on the issues.”

------------------------------------------
Is there anything lower than accusing good people of being racists?
Yes. Promising you'll stop - and then keep right on going.
