22. I love his speech
but I'm such a junkie, I heard so much of it before, I wish he'd get some new stuff.

He is attacking McCain more now, which is good.

23. The last 1/2 of his speech was the best he has ever made. Totally inspiring.
Especially the part on his values and patriotism (where he told of his growing up and the opportunities he had and why he loves this country)

26. Yes it was! His attack on McCain's (and Clinton's) gas tax scheme was also great.
Barack's going to have a strong week and a strong night on May 6.

28. Can't remember the words, but Obama said McCain will give people $25 total to help
with gas prices. It's just a scheme to win votes by sounding like he's doing something, but doesn't help anything in the long term. Meanwhile, the gas tax pays for highway and bridge repairs, so that money won't be there to help create jobs. He said something similar earlier today in Wilmington. Here's a video of it at Obama's site:

24. Saw the whole thing - thanks for the link!
Best part was when he said (don't remember word-for-word but it was something like):

"If you want to change things in Washington, you don't hire someone who knows how to play the same old games better, you hire someone who's going to put a stop to the games."

That THAT, Hillary! Pffft!

25. A new finish to his speech, very strong--"that's why I love this country, that's why you love this
country"--speaking of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness--"we have shed blood to defend them"

Revised the back half of his speech, it's very good.

Barack runs better as the underdog. Clinton, McCain, repugs, and the media pigpile ganging up on him have made him the underdog again. Eight days is just the right amount of time--enough time to turn the mo around, and before the dimwits in the media catch on that it's changed. They won't realize it's happened until they start counting votes, and then they'll call it a shockingly big night that for Obama.
