Media wants to pick the president for its bottom line...
General Electric owns NBC and co-owns MSNBC with Microsoft.

GE and TV in general have lots to lose if a Gore, Kerry, or Clinton got in office and started giving the public airwaves back to people by stopping media consolidation (what Gore and Kerry were about). Drugs ads are a big boon to the bottom line, but advanced countries that provide health care to their citizens don't allow prescription drugs to be advertised--why should the patient be asking for a specific drug? Having children demand sugar cereals is one thing.

MSNBC and NBC love Obama because they think he is their ticket to nuclear power plants everywhere (and GE will make zillions). With Obama, our trustworthy "green" energy President, nuclear power can rise again.

I don't mind nuclear power, but don't want plants on earthquake faults or being sold to the cheapest bidder. They also require a lot of care in their construction and maintenance, which requires money that GE executives and shareholders won't have to line their pockets.

Obama voted for the Cheney energy bill and then pretended not to, attacking it on the campaign trail as being crafted behind closed doors (more than likely written by lobbyists). He neglects to say that he voted for it!

As for trustworthiness for nuclear energy, he chose Exxelon over his constituent's health! What's a bit of nuclear waste in your drinking water compared to the money for my campaign to become Mr. Hopeity Change (TM)? Take a chance on your own aspiration (drawing of breath).

Maybe some people are catching on.

2. That explains the 24 hour coverage of Reverend Wright then
One would think that Reverend Wright would never have come to the media's attention if your theory were correct.

And who signed the Telecommunications Act of 1996?

15. I have to depend on your piss-poor opinion vs. a link, to something?
Ugh. Valiant effort, but you are full of it, and so damned obvious.
You love your candidate, why not try bolstering her instead of these insipid posts you all try to convince us with.
