The people probably from Indiana are not too happy about this.

11. Yes, he was. Apparent if you listen to the context, beginning at 3:54 on the tape.
Kantor, after hearing that Bill Clinton was ahead in Indiana, 42-40, says, "It' doesn't matter if we win. Those people are shitting. How would you like to be in the White House right now?

Kantor is referring to the Bush White House where Bill Clinton is leading in Indiana--Dan Quayle's home state.

Listen to the tape and the context--where Carville and Stephanopolous are apparently looking over exit polls--begins 3:54 into the tape. Steph has a paper in his hand and says, "What's this? "Holy Shit!" and Carville says, "What? Are those the new ones?" (exit polls)

I've seen some other very reasonable Obama posters today as well, and I should have told them thank you too. But as one who is uncommitted to anything other than a Dem win in Nov, I must say thank you to all the reasonable candidate supporters on this board. :hi:

19. As did I, even though I didn't post anything about it, but only by luck
The first thread I saw about this gave the story, but then I thankfully saw the threads about the video likely being a fake. I don't think there is anything wrong with being taken in by stories- the problem comes with those posters who *even now* are arguing the absolute certainty of the validity of the tape and calling for Kantor's resignation. My opinion, anyway.
