Bill Clinton's dalliances are a security risk; you had better believe we are going to bring them up.
From Wikipedia:

In April 1996, Lewinsky's superiors relocated her job to the Pentagon because they felt she was spending too much time around Clinton.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monica_Lewinsky#Scandal

This apparently got so bad that some other officials had to step in because they were probably wondering if Monica Lewinsky was some sort of a spy. I don't think Monica is a spy, but do you honestly think that Putin or most all of the other leaders who want to know more about us than we want them to know doesn't take this sort of thing into consideration?

People kind-of liked that he had women on the side, it seems. His approval rating shot up after Monica Lewinksy was revealed. I'm not talking about that.

4. Aside from that.... it shows a huge abuse of power... sexual harassment.

Lewinski was his subordinate employee... and her employer had sex with her in the workplace. Then he got caught and lied about it, waged his finger in the face of the american public and said he did not have sexual relations with that woman... ms lewinski.

Had someone in the Obama campaign had this history of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment, hill followers would be demanding he be fired and Hill would be demanding that Obama disavow and reject his words and his actions repeatedly.

31. You miss the point. It's not about the Monicas, it's about blackmail vulnerability
Not the kind where someone demands a suitcase of money, but the kind where someone brings pressure for changes in decisions. Such pressure can create security issues, or more likely, corrupted governance, when the "decider" is the president.

Kennedy was pressured in unsavory ways because he thought with the wrong head too often. Depends on which biography you read how bad the problem was.

With the Monica thing however, it's mute. The threat is we will out your actions if you don't do what we ask, but the Monica story, as with several others, is already out there. It's no longer relevant.

Monica had become a security risk and an embarrassment that endangered
the office of the Presidency all the way to the oval office.

Now the Clintons' lying, and yes, you get both of them with their candiancy,
will be taken into account by the voting public. Its the lying get it?
Its the foolish lying.

That was no security risk! It was a very typical guy lying about straying off the farm. I could give you a long list of names of people I know who've done the same damn thing. Yep, he was unfaithful to his wife, but damn it, if she can forgive him and move on, then so should we all!

50. This is so irrelevant
I can't believe that Democrats would try to restart the Great Clinton Cock Wars. I thought only pervy Repubs cared about that (wait--is that redundant?) Why don't you spend some time looking into King George the First's dalliances--I hear he is a major poon hound. Look, many major politicians get some on the side. I don't like it but it seems to be true. Putin probably does too, though I think that dude probably has some seriously weird fetishes. What's the point? Bubba isn't running for office; Hillary is. Why not look into Huggy Bear's "clandestine ops"?
