Recount imminent in Guam
Edited on Sat May-03-08 08:36 PM by Upton
What will be next?

Herbie Perez, chairman of the nominating committee, said she will not certify the results because the Committee needs to ensure that all the uncounted ballots were properly identified as "spoiled."

She said officials from the Party and representatives from both candidates will meet probably Monday or Tuesday to address that issue.

Perez revealed she is also looking into the missing ballots.

More than 8,100 were printed in response to reports of shortages at precinct sites. But when the final tally came in, only a little over 4,500 ballots were used.

1. OMG. What a mess. I am assuming, however, that the delegate count
won't be affected by whatever conclusion they come to.

8. Delegate count will be 2-2
but they had slates of superdelegates running too and, as of right now, Obama has picked up 2 SDs.

count how many registered voters in each polling place.. have 1 ballot per person printed..run 'em through a counter BEFORE anyone votes..

count the number of names signed in..
count the number of turned in ballots
(they should match)

subtract that total from the am UNVOTED ballots.. that's what you should have left over UN USED :)

JESUSCHRISTONABOATTRAILER how freaking hard is that to do??

Time to call in an expert:)

16. On second thought, I'd
like to share a bit of concern. Guam is politically corrupt to its very core, or was when I lived there. LOTS of nepotism, and everyone looks the other way. Sigh.
