Since America is so incredibly dumbed down
by corporate TV, do you think the election could actually boil down to which candidate is better looking?

If so, Obama wins. It's about time we got something out of all this dumbing down.

4. Exactly.
They were obviously scared of Edwards, and didn't see Obama as a threat. Oops. Too late.

5. The corporate-media assault on America is propoganda straight out of 1984
Edited on Sun May-04-08 12:23 AM by Cali_Democrat
It's completely out of control. They aren't even hiding it anymore. Chris Matthews yesterday said that "Wright ghettoizes Obama and puts Obama back in the 'hood."

Pat Buchanan was blowing his dog whistle so hard the other day basically telling America to wake up because a black man might be president.

The media doesn't want to talk about real issues like Iraq, health care, or the economy. They would rather talk about flag pins, pastors, neighbors, and middle fingers. This is a direct assault on the minds of the American people.

7. Agree, but my point is
that the corporate media has now created a viewership that can't think and isn't swayed by boring things like facts. But they will still see Obama's handsome face and like it more than McSame's.
